The longer Minetest worlds are around, the larger they will become. If Minetest can't handle large databases well enough for game play, then perhaps the size of the world should be limited much, much smaller. |
10:44 |

there's already a worldedge mod and settings in minetest.conf |

10:52 |
LazyJ |
Has something to do with the amount of exposed surfaces. |
10:53 |
LazyJ |
Above ground there are a lot of builds with many different slopes and nodeboxes as well as flowing lava, flowing water, and other animations. |

I use that page all the time when looking for new stuffs. I also use it to find updates for my mods, for example, I can;t just keep track of all the mods that I have, so every now and then I search for example for "3d_torch" and see if a new one is out. |

Which cats mod? |

*carts |
22:21 |
H-H-H |
if you break them then you can pick them up but if you break them by placing sand or gravel or water on them then you cant pick them up |
22:22 |
H-H-H |
now your asking i think the rails are from base game tbh but dont quote me |
22:22 |
Fritigern |
IIRC the base game does not have rails/carts. |
22:23 |

it does |

i just loaded up a new world with no mods enabled and in creative searched for rails and they are there |

22:25 |

now looking at them :) |
22:28 |

You were right about the rails being in the base game (couldn;t find carts though) and I have just placed those default tracks on sand, broke the sand underneath and picked the rails up just fine |
22:30 |
H-H-H |
hmmm wierdness might just be a wierd glitch then :) im not overly worried about it but will double check again for my own sanity lol |
22:32 |

thanks for looking though |

btw Fritigerm try placing sand on top of those default rails and then try picking them up |
