it would seem there's only 3 unique kinds of mob mod currently useable in minetest then (and maybe one of two that might work from the Old Mods section). there's mobf, there's simple mobs, and there's BlockMen's creatures mod. |

and it looks like mobf hasn't seen an update in almost a year, smobs has like 10 different forks now but hasn't seen an 'official' update in around 2 years, and creatures was updated 2 months ago but is fairly sparse so far... |
