Oh |
00:07 |
cities |
Well that would explain some |
00:07 |
cities |
Why is it an it |
00:08 |
shadowzone |
Well I have plenty of friends. |
00:08 |
shadowzone |
I have all of you guys and I have about 15 irl friends. |
00:08 |
iqualfragile |
cities: because its not 14 yet |
00:09 |
iqualfragile |
shadowzone: i would doubt that, you most likely have 12 aquantices and like 2 friends |
00:09 |
shadowzone |
You got me. |
00:10 |
* shadowzone |

00:10 |
cities |
Why does being not 14 yet make one an it |
00:11 |
iqualfragile |
cities: because i don't asing a sex or gender to people below age of consent |

iqualfragile: do you refer to a child you've met in person as "it" when you can clearly ascertain their gender, then? |
00:12 |
cities |
So when your child is born do you say it's an it?? |
00:12 |
iqualfragile |
VanessaE: actually, yes |
00:12 |
VanessaE |
(assume a child born without any physical or mental abnormalities) |
00:12 |
iqualfragile |
its "das kind" in german |
00:12 |

That's kind of weird |
00:12 |
VanessaE |
iqualfragile: I would refrain from that in the future if I were you - you are very likely to get assulted for that. |

00:13 |
iqualfragile |
VanessaE: wut? |
00:13 |
iqualfragile |
why? |
00:13 |
VanessaE |
because parents do NOT take too kindly to people calling their children "it" instead of appropriate gender pronouns |
00:13 |
cities |
That's not normal and I would think parents wouldn't take kindly to their child being called an it |
00:13 |

iqualfragile |
the german word for girl "das mädchen" is not female, actually, its "das", still its common to make the gramatical mistake of saying "das mädchen … sie" |
00:17 |
VanessaE |
hisforever: after you install the mod, you have to do /mobf and turn turn on "secondary spawning" |
00:17 |
iqualfragile |
never really thought about that, to be honest |
00:18 |

08:28 |

Ok, you have just to type /grant burli fly . |
08:28 |

I just run singleplayer |
08:28 |

Ok, /grant singleplayer all so. |
08:28 |

08:31 |
burli |
also default_privs = fly |
08:32 |
ElectronLibre |
It's impossible :/... In singleplayer mod you join the world when the server start only with interact, shout and privs, which is hidden.. |
08:33 |
ElectronLibre |
In minetest.conf it's for Server options. You can run a server without making it public and you will be able to use your nickname instead of singleplayer, and when you are granted it's saved after server's shutting down :). |

dirkk0 joined #minetest |

Ok.. The only way to find them is to find where you died... If you have not restarted the server since you died, you can fly and press R to see every chunck loaded. If you explore every of them you will be able to find them. Or you can see it in the logs by looking for "player singleplayer have lost X hp" or a similar message. |
08:38 |
ElectronLibre |
Did you build or dig nodes or restart the server since you died? |
08:39 |
burli |
I restart the game |
08:40 |
ElectronLibre |
Don't restart the server, that will add lines to your debug.txt log file and make the search more difficult (If you did it it's not a problem..). |
08:41 |
burli |
My bones are still there? |
08:41 |

iqualfragile |
Brains: why would you need to do that, isn't there a migrate switch for minetestserver? |
16:02 |
Brains |
iqualfragile: The problem I was having was that the migration from leveldb to redis was failing... Initially due to a call to pairs on luaentity.entities failing due to .entities being nil. Adding a check for that got me to ~20% converted before faiing to store to the database. |

when you can't dig something, use worldedit. |
18:10 |
VanessaE |
it's part of dreambuilder |
18:10 |
VanessaE |
//p set |
18:11 |
VanessaE |
then punch two corners around the node |
18:11 |
VanessaE |
you will see a checkered box surround it |
18:11 |
VanessaE |
then do //set air |
18:11 |
VanessaE |
the node will disappear |
18:11 |
VanessaE |
then do //reset |
18:11 |
hisforever |
ok ty |
18:11 |
VanessaE |
the checkered box will disappear |
18:11 |
VanessaE |
be careful when you //set air |
18:12 |
VanessaE |
make sure only the region you want to delete is enclosed by the checkered box :) |
18:12 |
VanessaE |
if it's not right, just do //p set and punch two corners again |
18:12 |
VanessaE |
btw, update your dreambuilder, the latest plantlife is in there and it's much less laggy now |
18:13 |
VanessaE |
(if you haven't updated since say, last week) |

hisforever: then you will see a checkered box appear surrounding the couch. type: //set air and then //reset |
18:16 |

the couch will disappear and then the checkered box will disappear. |
