rubenwardy: thanks for telling me! i really need to catch up on the forum again. i'm currently mostly still working on the mod to let npc talk. that is also something that will hopefully help villages in the future |

mg_villages still ought to work without cottages. it's just that those villages who have buildings which need those blocks from cottages will not spawn |

flux did a very complex pr on cottages, and others did as well. it's not easy to sort out (plus i seem to have forgotten my passphrase for my github key again) |

ah. yes. i'm afraid that#s so. i hope to get the talking mod ready soon. after all it's running fine. we had no crashes with it. still, a bit more testing and especially moving out the npc declaration are necessary steps. then afterwards i'll hopefully have time to sort out mg_villages and cottages again |

*a* user or users? i have the problem on the yl server that each entity sends its updates of position and movement seperately. that's fine in general but constitues a dos attack if there's a couple of hundrets of 'em around at the same time...plus people having more detailled animation |

in such situations packages get lost, and what is shown to (my) client is not in sync with what is on the server. but that happens only with slow lines. server lag is more common |
