02:44 Lone-Star minetest runs a lot smoother than MC, even with gfx all set to max, shaders, animations, etc.. would have to turn everything to min on MC
02:55 Foz VanessaE, I want to thank you again for you help earlier.  I was able to recover using the local backup and WE //mtschemcreate and //mtschemplace.  These commands were much faster than //save, //load.  So thanks again :)

03:51 rubenwardy ah, I remember. you can handle this by only allowing Minetest to send chunks when they're changed, and then having the middleman notice that and update their local cache

13:42 Calinou what matters is avoiding servers with frequent lag spikes though, but you can't predict that
