is this syntax right? load_mod_worldedit = true |
02:26 |
Menche |
if the mod is named "worldedit" that's right. I think worldedit is a modpack composed of many submods though |
02:27 |
dante123 |
do i just move the worldedit folder to the mods folder or do i open it and then move its contents |
02:27 |
dante123 |
cause right now it doesn seem to be finding the mod (i moved the folders contents to mod folder...but not the main folder itself) |
02:28 |
Menche |
to use it as a modpack, just copy the entire folder to mods/ |
02:29 |
Menche |
just install it and run minetest; if it finds it, it will add load_mod_whatever to the world.mt set to false. just close minetest and set them all to true. |
02:29 |
dante123 |
MineTest-WorldEdit-1.0 is the name of the folder...just move the whole thing into mods folder right? |
02:30 |
Menche |
yeah, if it contains several sub-folders and a file named "modpack.txt" |
02:31 |
dante123 |
it does have a file named modpack, but it still isn't finding it....there is a mod tab do I use that |
02:32 |
dante123 |
still not showing up |
02:32 |
dante123 |
hmmm |
02:33 |
dante123 |
when I made the world I made it singlenode,....could that be part of the problem |
02:33 |
dante123 |
what does v6, v7, singlenode, indev, math actually mean? |
02:36 |
Menche |
those are different c++ mapgens |
02:36 |
Menche |
if you set it to singlenode, your world will be empty. that means only 1 type of node, by default just air. |
02:37 |
Menche |
unless you have some mapgen done in lua, of course, which is what singlenode was made for. |
02:38 |
Menche |
indev is probably the best general-purpose mapgen. it's basically v6 with a few more features. v7 isn't complete yet and math is a crazy abstract mapgen. |
02:44 |
Naked |
v7 s only generating stone |
02:49 |
Menche |
you can define biomes for v7 in lua, but nobody wants to do that by default |
02:49 |
Naked |
Ill give it a try |
02:51 |
Naked |
is there a doc on how to do that in v7? |
02:52 |

Well after 6 hours total of researching I found out that if I install Ubuntu onto an external hard disk it will move grub onto that disk and the one on the computer is gone. Ubuntu is on the external and windows internal. How would I get windows to work without having to connect the external hdd |
10:58 |

Also I have gotten to grub by starting PC with HDD but had to leave before going into any os |

In Blender, can you change the size of a shape,eg makie it 'shorter'on one side, without using scale? |

You can use the scale tool, or input the values into the object tab |

Hey. How's the magic? |
21:07 |

Maybe Windows "Neptune" will run it: "Neptune was a test version of Windows 2000 for home users, being developed from 1999 till 2000." |
21:07 |
tinoesroho_ |
... I once had a Neptune ISO. |
21:07 |

ME likely won't |
21:07 |
thefamilygrog66 |
Windows ME, that is - I don't think it ran anything well! |

Unfortunately, it was impossible to find software that ran on Neptune. |
