the remote media feature works based on file hashes |

so the client will download the modified texture from your server |

Are dropped items supposed to float mid-air for a bit before they slowly fall to the ground? |
19:04 |
Shara |
Not that I ever saw |
19:05 |
IhrFussel |
Did you try it in 0.5.0-dev? |
19:05 |
Shara |
Not specifically, but have run about in it and never noticed it |
19:05 |
IhrFussel |
Now a dropped item fell through a solid node |
19:07 |
IhrFussel |
Looks like item entities stuck in nodes now slowly move upwards (or was that always the case?) |
19:07 |
Shara |
Don't think it was. |
19:07 |
Shara |
I seem to remember there being an issue about items getting stuck behind things, so maybe that was a fix for it? |
19:09 |
Sokomine |
i did see dropped items floating for a while and behaving strangely. in very old versions of mt they even managed to sink through the floor. i'm generally suspicious of mods like item_drop or mods that let items move with water etc. - just adds server lag and nothing really to the gameplay imho |
19:09 |
CWz |
langugetool now has a proversion i just hope that they didn't remove checks and made them paid |
19:09 |
IhrFussel |
Yeah it's a nice feature if intended, but if I drop an item while looking straight forward the item floats mid-air for a sec before it "flies" down |
19:10 |
Shara |
FLoating items sounds bad really |
19:11 |
IhrFussel |
The dropped items either float or sink into ground before they slowly come up again |
19:12 |

19:30 |

You have to look slightly up and then drop to see them floating |
19:33 |
IhrFussel |
Or look straight down while dropping the item ... it will float for at least 3 secs |
19:34 |
IhrFussel |
And it also still falls through solid nodes sometimes |
19:35 |
IhrFussel |
The time it takes to come up again is pretty long I'd say... Many players would already have dug the solid node instead of waiting 5-10 sec |
