18:16 kilbith btw I've been trying the most popular subgames on CDB and I realized that none of them but MTG are offering a good base for modding
18:16 kilbith they all suck unanimously (MCL2 to lesser degree) and their common denominators are absolutely terrible sounds and poor gameplay decisions
18:17 kilbith in light of all this, I preconize that MTG is forked off by a team of established developers
18:17 kilbith and by etablished developers I mean: no snotty teenagers, no FLOSS aficionado who has no idea what actually works in the gaming industry; ideally people who made *mainstream* mods AND are/were professional developers

18:43 Zughy[m]1 When I played Minecraft, I used to have the inventory on Maiusc, sneak on Ctrl and, well, Tab was the key to see online players. MT could implement it too, doing /status every time is not handy at all

18:47 Zughy[m]1 A videogame is a mix of different arts and skills: planning, coding, music, story (sometimes), graphic. It's way harder than writing a book
18:48 Zughy[m]1 that's why even with tons of free game assets a lot of people can't make a great videogame: they have to learn how to combine them, how to create a harmony and convey what they want to. That's very very hard
18:51 kilbith so far the only decent games I've seen were: CTF, ITB, VoXus and MiBi. Common denominator? All made by professional developers.
