Fixer_ |
any ubuntu people? i've heared low fps in games for unity was caused by a bug and it was fixed and games should run with 2xbigger fps now |
15:24 |
Fixer_ |
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/987304 |
15:24 |
* sfan5 |
uses ubuntu 12.04 |
15:25 |
* brobostigon |
uses debian sid/unstable |
15:25 |
Fixer_ |
it is unity bug |
15:26 |
brobostigon |
so it was related to how it access's the graphics, as unity uses opengl, and so does minetest ? |
15:26 |
Fixer_ |
dunno, read the bug |
15:26 |
brobostigon |
ok. |
15:26 |
sfan5 |
minetest -> opengl , unity (not sure) -> opengl |
15:26 |
Fixer_ |
unity is OGL |
15:26 |
Fixer_ |
i mean compiz and compiz uses OGL |
15:27 |
brobostigon |
agreed, yes. |
15:27 |
Fixer_ |
so under the latest unity it will run much faster |
15:27 |
brobostigon |
similer improvements were made in gnome-shell also. |
15:28 |
Fixer_ |
nice |
15:28 |
brobostigon |
yes, it is almost [erfect now, compared to when i first tried it a few years ago now. |
15:28 |
brobostigon |
perfect* |
15:29 |
Fixer_ |
i've tried it on fedora and it worked fine on intel |
15:29 |
Fixer_ |
gnome is not bad if you like hotkeys :} |
15:29 |
Fixer_ |
but i'm looking for xfce 4.10 |
15:29 |
brobostigon |
i have tried gnome-shell on two machines, my mums nvidia, and my eeepc. and worked brilliently. |
15:30 |
brobostigon |
Fixer_: i like, not having to constantly move from mouse to keyboard and back and forth all the time, unless i have to. and i can do most things here in gnome3 keyboard alone. |

S3DVertex(f32 x, f32 y, f32 z, f32 nx, f32 ny, f32 nz, SColor c, f32 tu, f32 tv) |
18:08 |
art_ |
x ,y ,z are cordinates in environment |
18:08 |

c is a color of course .. |
18:09 |
art_ |
but what the other staff ? |
18:09 |
art_ |
nx ny nz ? and tu tv ? |
18:10 |

tu/v would be texture u/v coordinates |
18:10 |
art_ |
this class is used for painting textures on world colector .. |
18:10 |
marktraceur |
art_: My guess would be that the first six values indicate the minimum and maximum points |
18:11 |
marktraceur |
If you think about a rectangular prism, you can define all of its dimensions with only the minimum and maximum points |
18:11 |

For a torch, nx and so on would only be 1 over, I think |
