02:33 cheapie Does anyone know of a Win32 build of MT 5.x that will run on Windows XP and doesn't require SSE2? (SSE "1" is fine, -march=athlon-xp would be ideal)

04:00 epoch I played on a Dell Latitude D610
04:01 cheapie swift110: I had 0.4.12 running on an Athlon XP 2200+ :P
04:01 epoch but it was a little painful. like, closest fog distance, nothing fancy, no clouds, and still like, 10 fps.

04:02 epoch not sure if 5.anything would be better or worse.
04:02 cheapie I would try newer, but I haven't found any Win32 builds newer than 0.4.12 that don't need SSE2.
04:02 cheapie 0.4.12 actually ran okayish, as long as I didn't host the server on the same machine.
04:03 epoch I was using linux, so didn't have any extra windows overhead
04:03 cheapie I should set this thing up to dual-boot at some point.
04:04 epoch and it wasn't just any linux, it was, non-GUI, installed X11, set minetest as the only thing in ~/.xinitrc

04:13 cheapie The old video card I had in it was an ATI Rage XL... that thing was *SLOW*.
04:13 cheapie Like maybe 1 FPS at most in The Sims 2 with low details. This one does 20-30 FPS with medium settings.
04:14 cheapie 2D performance is also massively faster.

12:51 hisforever Hi I hope someone can hrlp. I built a midevel warehouse in one world. I saved the warehouse.we. then I copyed the sceam folder over to another world, the warehouse winn not load in the new world. Do I need 2 pos 1&2 or can I just use pos1 to set?
