the only thing I can think of is that IPv6 traffic isn't being forwarded to my server, but it still doesn't work if IPv6 is disabled in the config so I doubt that affects anything |

I have a stupidly overcomplicated setup where my MT server is being routed through a VPN to my VPS, which is where the domain name points, but IPv6 won't be that simple because VPN clients are assigned unique, globally routable IPs, so traffic will still just end up hitting a dead end on my VPS because the domain name doesn't point to the client... |

the server I do run it on is more powerful than an RPi (it's actually an old laptop I disassembled); the issue is A) My ISP doesn't provide a static IP or IPv6 B) I don't really want a domain name pointing to my home network, that's a recipe for disaster |
