the nvidia driver crashes all the time there, and the sound driver is weird as hell; I plug in my head phones and it notices I've plugged something it, it shows a popup to that effect, but it doesn't initialise it properly at all; I have to go into the device manager to disable and then enable the device every time |

hi |
01:45 |
bleak_fire_ |
i had a question about the protection mod, if anyone here can help me |
01:45 |
bleak_fire_ |
are the protected doors supposed to be like the steel doors, or are they only supposed to be protected if the area is protected? |
01:46 |

iron i mean |

protector redo mod |
01:52 |
LazyJ |
I'm only familiar with the Areas mod. With that mod, the regular doors can be opened by anyone with interact but they can not be permanently removed. |
01:52 |
LazyJ |
Except by the Area owner or those with the "areas" priv. |
01:53 |
bleak_fire_ |
ok |
01:53 |

this is the one i'm using |

If there is enough lag, players can dig through nodes, gain entry, and then the protection mod catches up and fills the dug nodes back in. |

bleak_fire_: Protected doors work with protection, if there is no protection then anyone can open them, othewise only the people in the protection can |
02:02 |
bleak_fire_ |
ok |
02:02 |
bleak_fire_ |
it's not like the iron doors then, where only the placer can open them |
02:02 |

yes, iron doors are limited to one player only, but protected doors can be used by all members in a protected area |
02:03 |
bleak_fire_ |
ok |
02:03 |

and that would be the logo or block only, not something you added to the doors and trapdoors themselves?? |

10:30 |
Blekpug |
"Adding lots of ABMs can cause a lot of lag" |
10:33 |

Blekpug, If I understand it well, and ABM is an action acting permanently on map and made with a mod |

Example : flowers and trees growing |

Mobs spawning |

For example I built a house, surrounded by walls, but I left the floor with dirt-with-grass and I cleaned all the grass |

Later there was grass in that room |

odd |

of course you shouldn't make a floor our of dirt-with-grass anyway |
