Right, I can confirm that bug on the same device while on Windows XP - it's not a lack of memory error. It's the wrong version of OpenGL. |
08:31 |
Trixar_za |
(Since it works fine on Windows 7 that comes with OpenGL 1.4 - Windows XP is forced to use OpenGL 1.2) |
08:34 |

can that be updated? |

18:20 |

Chip type: Intel(R) GMA 950 |
18:20 |
VanessaE |
OldCoder: if you refer to the two mods in plantlife, you can install both, but they are unrelated to each other save for depending on plants_lib. |
18:20 |
VanessaE |
bushes_classic replaces the mod that used to be part of nature pack |
18:20 |
VanessaE |
(which was called "bushes" at the time) |
18:21 |
VanessaE |
the mod _now_ called bushes is from the undergrowth modpack and does something entirely different. |
18:21 |
OldCoder |
So you recommend both? |
18:21 |
OldCoder |
All right |
18:21 |
OldCoder |
Did you say something about trying a new version? |
18:21 |
VanessaE |
if your world needs that kind of foliage yeah |
18:21 |
OldCoder |
github repo looks a month old |
18:21 |
VanessaE |
yeah, make sure you're at git HEAD of plantlife. |
18:21 |
OldCoder |
What kind of foliage? And what is the clone command? |
18:22 |
VanessaE |
foliage depends on whatever your world needs, only you can decide that :) |
18:22 |
JohnnyComeL8ly |
Actually, Krock, I think that mine is there on the intel list... "This file is written specifically for the desktop Intel® 945G, 945GC, 945GT, and 945GZ Express Chipsets and the Mobile Intel® 940GML, 943GML, 945GM, and 945GMS Express Chipsets." |
18:22 |
VanessaE |
but bushes mod (as it's called now that is) just adds various small-ish 2-3 node tall shrubs. bushes_classic is the one that adds small fruit-bearing bushes |
18:22 |
VanessaE |
clone command? |
18:22 |
OldCoder |
and the clone command for HEAD? And how safe is HEAD? |
18:23 |
JohnnyComeL8ly |
This is the part that holds me back - "The software drivers provided on this page are generic versions, and can be used for general purposes. However, computer original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) may have altered the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to the software or software packaging they provide. To avoid any potential installation incompatibilities on your OEM system, Intel recommends that you |

check with your OEM and use the software provided via your system manufacturer. " |

hello, I found grass in my world. When I try to get it sometimes I get it, but other times I get wheat seed. I am wondering if it is possible to create a grass without using a grass or a wheat seed. Any idea about that? |

18:27 |
Calinou |
they eventually grow on dirt_with_grass |
18:28 |

18:28 |

dirt can be turned into dirt with grass by putting light |

People, I'm making a new Minetest Game, the idea is to be as responsive as possible and as resposnive as LUA will allow. In order to do that Im using as few files as possble and cleaning even comments from lua code. |
22:26 |
Jordach |
and while i'm at it i should remove ShadowNinja's patch for node resolver :3 |
22:27 |

22:38 |
rubenwardy |
Just use default_stack_max in minetest.conf |
22:38 |
rubenwardy |
Use stack_max = NUM to override it. It is only a default |
22:38 |
Megaf |
rubenwardy: I mean, a game should be able to define that too |
22:38 |
Megaf |
or not? |
22:38 |
rubenwardy |
A game can have a minetest.conf |
22:39 |
rubenwardy |
Put it next to game.conf |
22:39 |
Megaf |
ok |
22:39 |
rubenwardy |
It overwrites the defaults, but minetest.conf in root overwrites the games conf |
22:39 |
rubenwardy |
So maybe use minetest.setting_set("default_stack_max", "123") to force it |
