None of my 3 servers are showing up at server.minetest.net |
02:13 |
Megaf |
how can I know why that's happening? |
02:14 |
blaise |
look at your config |
02:15 |
Megaf |
It was showing up, then it stopped showing |
02:15 |
Megaf |
Do I need to open a new port, TCP thing or something? |
02:15 |
blaise |
do you have some kind of psychadelic firewall or something? crazy router? |
02:15 |
Megaf |
nope |
02:18 |
blaise |
check your config |
02:20 |
blaise |
#server_announce = 0 |
02:20 |
blaise |
that needs to be set to = 1 |
02:20 |
blaise |
and uncommented |
02:20 |
blaise |
in your minetest.conf |
02:21 |
blaise |
probably in ~/.minetest/ |
02:23 |
blaise |
Megaf: did you find it? |

wow leveldb migration is going to take for ever 2.00586% complete lol |

is it possible to change the font color? |

03:13 |
Megaf |
Guest89739: your nick |
03:14 |
asl |
there nothing in the minetest.conf.example on font color, only console, fog and cross-hair |
03:17 |
kahrl |
you can change your monitor settings to change white to anything |
03:17 |
asl |
that wouldn't help, i want to change the font color cause i can't see the number for item that is white |
03:18 |
VanessaE_ |
asl: turn on font shadowing. |
03:18 |
VanessaE_ |
font_shadow = 2 |
03:18 |
VanessaE_ |
font_shadow_alpha = 255 |
03:19 |
VanessaE_ |
as long as you're not still using a bitmapped font, that should fix it. |
03:23 |
VanessaE_ |
as for the crosshair, that's a HUD element and is supplied as a texture (so the color thereof is controlled as part of the image file) |
03:23 |
VanessaE_ |
fog is hard-coded to more or less approximate dawn and dusk |
03:25 |
asl |
the font_shadow doesn't do anything, i think it cause my build doesn't have FREETYPE, `USE_FREETYPE=0` is shown in minetest --version |
03:28 |
VanessaE_ |
indeed. |
03:28 |
VanessaE_ |
you'll want that. |
03:28 |
VanessaE_ |
in which case, either enable it in your build, or use a bitmapped font such as this one, https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?id=4436 |

I think I have made a big mistake here http://marktest.co.uk/2014/04/all-about-encryption/ |

you have to have the same settings twice; eg md5 -> sha512 |

hello does anyone out there have a 3d screen using polarization? |
16:02 |
markveidemanis |
nope |
16:03 |
markveidemanis |
You can't polarize a screen both ways |
16:03 |
markveidemanis |
That'll block all light |
16:03 |

You'd have to polarize each pixel |

screens are polarized in sections. |

it's done by adding a foil polarizing odd/even lines different ways |

exactly. |

I don't know where to complain, so i'll just leave it here. Sheeps in PilzAdams'es mobs mod. They are cute and such, and good source of food. In fact they are so good source of food that farming (which is also by PA) becomes ineffective. Wheat is difficult to grow, bread takes insane amount of coal to get baked, and restore not so much hps as meat does. It's kinda unbalanced, no? You'll never see wheat fields on survival servers |

Hi all |
21:44 |
lordcirth |
So, I have made a terminal that lets you easily communicate with a luacontroller over a (very primitive) command line. |
21:45 |
lordcirth |
However, programming the luacontroller with useful command line features, in game, is too hard. |
21:46 |
lordcirth |
So I am thinking about adding "shortcut" functions to the luacontroller, any ideas? |
21:52 |
lordcirth |
How about this: a specific variable name, say "cmds" that is a table of (string, string)'s which lets you alias a string to a piece of lua, which will be executed when you call, say, alias("on"). |
21:53 |
lordcirth |
It would lookup the alias for "on", say "port.a = true" and run it. |
