I am currently working on a mod with an item that when used, popups up a window where the player can choose between different music files to play. I've tried to get it to work through using formspecs, but I can figure out how to get formspecs to work. |

you should add a "return formspec" to get_formspec() function |

then give it a proper formname, like "neoblocks_formspec" |

and starting the sound should happen in minetest.register_on_player_receive_fields(func(player, formname, fields)) |
