06:07 v-rob Is it possible to use raw OpenGL calls in the Minetest codebase?  I know there's the <mt_opengl.h> header created for that exact purpose, but I fear that using it on the Minetest side might cause strange state inconsistencies since it would be changing things without Irrlicht's knowledge.
06:08 v-rob I'm wondering because I want to know if I can e.g. use the stencil buffer for masking, since IrrlichtMt doesn't really support using that.  It would be nice if I could just use OpenGL rather than adding the necessary features to IrrlichtMt.
