Hello. It's been 8 days since I've started asking celeron for a Minetest LiberaPay collective group. I've pinged him twice and contacted him in private, but he's never replied. Let me get this straight: I'm spending my time and money to promote Minetest in physical spaces around half of Italy, I've made a poster and a flyer that required me a week which I've shared with the community (community who's also helped me), I've provided info |

about how to do what I requested, so answering to one single yes/no fucking question in 8 days doesn't seem so hard in comparison, does it? This silence treatment is toxic and it shouldn't be tolerated from the one who's in charge. |

So can we please adopt a horizontal approach and have a saying in 24 hours? I would have asked you for more, but the first event is this Saturday (I'll showcase Minetest in a foss festival in Verona) and getting the site and the description ready takes time, so it's better not to rush it. |

My request is the following: have a collective page on Liberapay for Minetest where core team members who want to receive donations out of Minetest can receive them. The split would be equal, except for people who host something for Minetest (e.g. the website, CDB) that want to cover their expenses: they'll have the priority. The page would act as the official Minetest donation page. |

about the non-response: it is also possible that i missed message on IRC. I've been on the go lately with choppy internet and the laptop running out of battery, and my bouncer setup isn't perfect in terms of presenting everything in a way that i would notice messages afterwards in those cases |

regardless of how obvious and the best solution a liberapay team seem to you, the landscape around these things is complex and people have strong opinions, and people already are on services other than liberapay too. personally i do like liberapay, but it does not mean a liberapay team is actually achievable. i would hope so, but let's wait for the comments |

Anyway, you don't forcibly have to be the one who creates the team. Any member is treated equally and can invite other members. If the one who started the group leaves, the group remains intact (I've been there). In short, if there is any consensus, the team can be started by anyone of us with a Liberapay profile |

<Warr1024> I would probably be wary of contributing to a "core devs" or "core team" account, considering that the standard for what constitutes e.g. a "core dev" seems to vary widely per person. I'd probably rather just direct my contributions at individuals based on how I value their contributions, and what actual expenses they may have. |
