@josiah_wi cmake will remove the old behaviour one day so we need to change that some day anyway |

<josiah_wi> We set the preference manually, so right now it doesn't matter what CMake does. If we want to switch to GLVND, we could request it manually and it would be consistent across all builds. Or if we want CMake to choose, we could print out a status message when the legacy version is requested, in case it happened inadvertently. |

<josiah_wi> I think even Debian oldstable has a CMake version high enough to default to GLVND, so it's unlikely someone will be building on a device where legacy would be preferred, but I think that's all the more reason to emit a notice if it happens. |

<josiah_wi> But for the same reason I don't think there's much drawback to requesting GLVND explicitly. Perhaps it's harder for a user to explicitly request a legacy preference from the command line in that case. |

hello; I'm planning to close all TurkeyMcMac's PRs if no one adopts it within two weeks. It's pointless to keep them open |

Also, I'm bringing MT to some events in Italy in these two months. I think it'd be nice to create a team page on Liberapay for anyone that wants to donate to Minetest, adding every member of the core team that wants to be part of it celeron55 (AFAIK you, rubenwardy, me and MisterE are the only ones on LP) |

it allows to set a nominal part, so you can put the servers cost in yours and the priority goes to that |
