<Ronoaldo> Sorry to interrupt but as a parent, I got very concerned about the recently discovered 18+ server on the server list... I'm not sure if the largest target audience for Minetest is adults, but having that server listed by default in the server list immediately makes the whole MT ecosystem not safe for my kids to play. Just wanted to add two cents since here since the shared issue is closed as not planned. |

<MisterE> That specific fix to the problem is closed as not planned, other fixes have been proposed and I think it has been decided to add an 18+ tag that server can declare, which can then be hidden in the serverlist |

If I was hosting the server list, that server was not going to be there anymore: it is explicitly inviting for player to have sexual roleplay. I really appreciate the whole team effort but unless I'm missing something, the fact a server explicitly inviting for virtual intercourse is still up is what  concerns me. |

<Warr1024> If you want a solution in the meantime, you can change the URL for the server list in settings, as long as you don't think your kids will bypass that. Â You can point it at a black hole and just use only remembered favorites, even, or if you're ambitious, set up your own filtering proxy. |

<Warr1024> For a mid level solution, if hosting a filtering proxy in realtime is too complex but you don't want to lose the entire rest of the server list, you could try pointing it at a static file snapshot of the list. Â Most of the major servers don't change their vital stats that often, and you just lose access to availability and player count kinds of data doing it that way. |
