03:09 ShadowNinja Irrlicht has built-in support for it, but we treat the entire world as a single object from Irrlicht's point of view (this could probably be changed to doing things at the mapblock level), so we have our own implementation.

07:47 rubenwardy Quiark, ShadowNinja: irrlicht is dead. The last full release was in 2013, and the last bug fix was 2016(?). The only maintainer says that lots of unstable stuff was merged and he's struggling to get it to release
