IhrFussel that CSM sounds mod on the forum has a folder that has to be put in the server mod folder, so it isn't a purely clientside mod, it's a serverside mod plus a clientside mod. only server owners can use it |

i downloaded the mod, i guess the advantage is inventory open/close, death and damage sounds without network delay |

That might sound weird if the server DOES lag... cause then you hear the sound but visual is missing |
