now I'm realizing it's a shame no one ever came up with guassel-moto (quassel irc client for motorola) for those who are not so..., quick :D If I have to explain why that's funny, you're past help |

rubenwardy: actually NPCs (bots) are needed if you plan to ship the game in distrib, for singleplayer use, like in any other CTF game. |

thought: instead of jumping from 0.9.0 to 1.0.0, the Minetest versioning can always go to 0.10.0, although I feel like at some point the '0.' at the start will just be removed |

can we change the size of text on a label? |
14:25 |

No |
14:25 |

Not yet at least |

:( I always get disappointed by abilities of MT formspecs |
14:28 |
rubenwardy |
Yeah |
14:28 |
rubenwardy |
Same |
14:29 |
ThomasMonroe |
you guys might want to take a look at CEGUI, I'm not sure if it would be optimal, but it is definetly better :) |
14:31 |
lisac |
we should probably just implement more abilities into the current system |

I would like six-face tree bark blocks like in Minecraft, would allow more complicated trees without the inside of the tree showing through |
15:06 |
rdococ |
although that's more of an idea for mods than minetest itself |

it's not sorting the channel list on desktop, weirdly |
15:22 |
rubenwardy |
but does sort on Android |
15:22 |
rubenwardy |
and it also doesn't appear to do chat prediction |

Works well now |
17:57 |
rubenwardy |
Turns out I just needed to turn the "sort alphabetically" option off and on again |
17:58 |
sofar |
maybe I should try it, I'm not entirely happy with ZNC just yet |
17:59 |
rubenwardy |
It's really good |
18:00 |
rubenwardy |
It deals with multiple devices very welel |
18:16 |
rubenwardy |
It also syncs things lead read status and such |
18:16 |
rubenwardy |
So it's basically IRC but with modern syncing |
18:27 |

I was thinking of trying to build a mesecons computer without any embedded Lua |
18:27 |
rubenwardy |
Do it! |
18:27 |
rdococ |
or digilines |
18:28 |
rubenwardy |
I made one from nand gates |
18:28 |
rubenwardy |
In this custom program |
18:28 |
rdococ |
cool |
18:28 |
rdococ |
you don't even need to use NAND gates, you can just use mesecon torches which act as NOT gates, and then you can merge wires to form OR gates |
18:28 |
rdococ |
like how you would *have* to do it in Minecraft |
18:29 |
rdococ |
I'm gonna do it in singleplayer with flatperiod, so that it doesn't lag as much for me |
18:31 |
rud0lf |
problem: join_player with name N is called without prejoin_player of that name |
18:31 |
rud0lf |
is it possible? |
18:31 |
rud0lf |
we trying to recreate conditions of crash of per-ip limiter mod |
18:31 |
rud0lf |
*we're |
18:32 |
rdococ |
I remember there being a "same-IP-detector" mod that sends a message to the chat if two players shared the same IP |
18:33 |
rud0lf |
it's names_per_ip mod |
18:41 |
rdococ |
Okay, instead of a mesecon computer I accidentally did a mesecon wire duplication glitch. |
18:41 |
rdococ |
or maybe I did, I can't tell as survival doesn't even work properly in my current configuration |
18:42 |
rdococ |
seriously, I still have the "infinite blocks" thing whether I select creative or not |
18:42 |
rdococ |
mesecons is just buggy overall tbh |
18:43 |
rdococ |
I don't remember any of this happening in the 0.4.16/17 server I was testing stuff on... |
18:45 |
rdococ |
I have a working piston feed tape, though |
18:45 |
rdococ |
granted it only holds 13 blocks atm |

i've got 0.4.16 :) |

that branch contains 0.4.17-dev which is unreleased, but there's no harm using it |
20:32 |
sfan5 |
(and it's obviously compatible with 0.4.x) |
