hmmmm: particle spawners are slow for both the server and the client, they absolutely kill FPS, and they cause a horrible amount of lag. Even spawning tons of entities is less egregious. |

bees mod for example, is bad enough, but the snow mod, which I'm pretty sure is using them for what they were intended for, just sends both servers and clients straight down the hole now. |

as soon as the former switched from using spawners to using individual particles, it was fine. snowdrift mod does that also. |
