Time Nick Message 01:34 Pope_Rigby Why is hit registration acting awful for mobs on my server? It seems like half the time I hit them, it doesn't register. 04:44 Andrew Pope_Rigby: that's not enough info for anyone to help lol 04:45 Pope_Rigby Sorry. What info would be helpful? 04:45 Pope_Rigby It's on Minetest game with the Mobs Monsters mod. 04:46 Andrew idk, at least debug.txt 04:46 Andrew with trace 04:50 Pope_Rigby Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be anything useful. I'll try to figure it out later. Thanks for the help. 04:51 Pope_Rigby * in debug.txt 09:03 MTDiscord Hi there, yesterday i have migrated a world to postgres which keeps freezing (there is already another one running with postgres on the same machine). According to the verbose log, everything looks as expected. It initializes the connection, registeres all nodes, opens the port, announces to he serverlist and ... is dead. It logs the sigterm but wouldn't actually terminate and has to be killed. Postgres doesn't throw errors except "could 09:03 MTDiscord not receive data from client: Connection reset by peer" – which happens for other clients too. Already tried recompiling and using the binary from the working server... both are still on 5.4.1 – will update asap, but wanted to do the migration first... . Any ideas what could be wrong? :/ 09:05 MTDiscord ...if it helps... before it was using mtsatellite... could this cause some sort of corruption maybe? 10:00 MTDiscord now trying to convert the original db back to the expected format with mtdbconverter from mtsatellite and then try again to migrate... 12:02 sfan5 no idea what mtsatellite but in any case running the server in a debugger should provide usable results 22:26 pumpkkin[m]1 originally i thought i would learn a little bit of Lua every day but then i realized real life is too time consuming 23:19 MTDiscord Meaning you are forced to learn it all at once
