19:13 deltasquared argh, no way to be notified of a chunk being loaded before any get_node calls can see the new chunk...
19:15 deltasquared LBMs kinda work for knowing if an area is loaded in some cases. though I did some testing, LBMs are not strictly ordered before any other accesses to the loaded chunk. so now I'd have to poll/update a loaded action whenever accessing a new area.
