I just remembered when i was at Cup of Linux 8 months ago. Five of us where using Linuxmint. Four was using cinnamon, and had several problems. I was the only one using Xfce and i had no problems at all. |

I took my Linuxmint Xfce, and installed Lxde. Logged out then logged back in using the new Lxde session i just created. Then i got rid of almost all the Xfce stuff with exception of a couple of files. |

Certain people in the Linux community was all excited about Lxqt, thinking it would replace Lxde. What a joke! Lxqt uses more resources than Lxde. |

On distowatch there is 54 distros with Lxde, and 7 with Lxqt, so i don't think Lxde is going anywhere soon. Lxde is probably going to be around for atleast 25 years. |
