23:24 VanessaE        DoyleChris: on the left, two LV batts and a switching station.  middle, a sticky piston.  behind, a mesecons switch (for clarity, this is where your control signal goes).  at right, a CNC machine on one "throw" and solar panels on the other.
23:25 VanessaE        the way it's wired, the left LV cables approach the piston at both it's retracted AND extended positions.  one throw is immediately opposite, the other goes out 90 degrees to them
23:25 VanessaE        (note that the cables do not update their connection appearance - ShadowNinja is this a technic bug?)
23:26 VanessaE        when the piston is retracted, it's making a connection between the batts/switching station assembly, and the CNC machine
23:26 VanessaE        when extended, the CNC machine is cut off and the power is routed in from the solar arrays instead.
23:26 VanessaE        this is what substantially what you need, except with node detectors and LuaC to control the piston.
23:28 VanessaE        also try not to draw so much power through your circuit that that poor, innocent rat by the wall gets cooked :)
