02:38 VanessaE go to the Settings tab in the main menu, hit the Change Keys button
02:38 VanessaE there's an option there "Aux key descends" or similar

03:00 VanessaE you sure you aren't holding shift our of habit?  shift + E gets treated as space = ascend.
