if I remember right, the basic usage is if you dig a bush by hand, you get its berries and the bush stays in the ground (but you also get a bush occasionally, to allow them to be farmed). use a shovel and you dig-up the bush entirely. use a sword and you get sticks. pickaxe destroys the bush. |
