19:14 Macabrehour I am on linux mint 19, firewall is turned off, when someone in my household tries to connect to me my game stops responding and they get timedout error, any idea why? log shows no information relating to it.

20:25 jonadab     Note that, rather than turning firewall off, it's better to only open the specific ports you want open.

20:26 jonadab     Admittedly, in a LAN scenario, it's not a big deal to temporarily have everything open until you figure out what is required.
