I want to make a custom main menu for minetest and I can make changes in the builtin/mainmenu lua files (with success). I want to edit these files in my subgame folder with "main_menu_script = ". I've copied the mainmenu folder to my subgame folder and added main_menu_script = "/mainmenu/init.lua" to the minetest.conf file. Sadly it's not working, can som 18:50 sfan5 Vinus: i'm fairly sure subgames cannot modify the mainmenu currently 18:50 Vinus oh :< 18:51 sfan5 there should be an issue open for this, but I can't find it right now 18:58 Vinus Ok, so for now i will stick with the minetest.conf file in the .minetest folder - thanks sfan5 for your help and have a nice day! :> 19:01 exio4 i want a + 19:01 exio4 this is discrimination man 19:01 Ingar you said "man" that's sexist 19:06 Krock man grep 19:07 Sketch2 lols 19:09 exio4 Ingar: it's ok i'm not a white male 19:17 deltasquared daft question about API cost, is there much redundant work done if I were to do minetest.get_meta() say a few hundred times per globalstep, if sometimes said ref isn't used? 19:17 Krock yes. API calls are never good in large quantities 19:19 deltasquared given what I'm doing, I don't want to allow precise access to a position from the callback until after a certain step in an algorithm is done. I guess I could create a closure to access it if need be 23:35 MinetestBot 02[git] 04paramat -> 03minetest/minetest_game: Stairs: Add field to determine world-aligned textures (#2219) 135b3b609 https://git.io/fxt8e (152018-10-03T23:33:11Z)
