12:40 tverrbjelke_ I need some help. I installed me minetest, play it with my kids and now installed mod dreambuilder. But me (1st user to login onto server) now seem to have superpowers. I can instantiate every block from the new inventory ...

12:55 tverrbjelke_ oh, now I reversed the login order of the two users. Loggin in 1st with new user makes HIM now able to get all items of new inventory. The old user logged in as 2nd now cannot craft stuff. He is now also no longer admin of the game. Hm ... Someone can help me with this? Do I have to use a different "empty" user do run the server and then login as normal user to play with my kids?

13:03 tverrbjelke_ A workaround *could* be: I start the server from console. Then I start locally a GUI Client and login as "Grobi" - and forget him. Then I go to the real clients (me and my kids) and login and play within local lan.

14:26 twoelk tverrbjelke_ , when starting a server you indeed need to assign an admin, which per default usually is the one who starts the server. Once set up you can simply start the server from console and join with any other avatar name. The admin need not join to keep the server running. starting the executable with parameters such as  --server --worldname should work.

23:07 octacian AFAIK, the "entities" in the inventory are actually items, so not_in_creative_inventory works. Entities themselves do not show up in the creative inventory to my knowledge.
