19:19 segfault22 I have this Dell PC I can use, but I have to make a DIY fan controller because its fan controller circuit is ruined. I had to replace the RAM capacitors in it a while ago, and it still works. It would have up to 7GB of RAM (1x 4GB and 3x1GB)

21:46 TheWild on smooth lighting enabled, when something that emits light (e.g. torch) is placed on flat surface, the "halo" often isn't a nice symmetric hexagon like in MC - it goes into ugly hexagon or 7-gon. This is because of triangle arrangement in a square. Color interpolations may look different on different arrangement. However, when certain conditions are met, triangle arrangment does not matter.

22:25 TheWild hint for the API devs: in Minecraft when a block is placed or destroyed (or state changed?), six neighbor blocks are notified about such fact. So when a block is destroyed while a torch is on it, torch is notified, checks its new conditions and gets taken off. The same for sand, when it gets notified, it checks what is under and if nothing, starts to fall.
