However, the next byte is packet type (control/original/split/reliable) - is it a requirement or it's completely legitimate to send/receive a packet without anything, without even type?

20:53 tazzer I unzipped the the archive, moved it into the games directory. changed the folder name to carbone-ng. That didn't work so I also tried minetest_game like it said in the readme
