18:59 GreenDimond Discord doesn't have positional audio builtin (to keep the app lightweight) but the games wanting positional audio can still implement it because of volume and pan settings

22:03 ircSparky what kind of maintenance would it need? if you just sent the player/camera location/rotation over it should be fairly simple. I'm not terribly familiar with the minetest code though
23:08 shivajiva I think that with each successive wave of players we are seeing higher comfort levels of using audio in their daily lives to communicate with strangers. It will need to be catered for at some point and hopefully not via proprietary software api's
